This position involves working primarily on a 150 million dollar plus luxury Hotel project. This opportunity is not project specific however and most of your projects would involve work in Orange County.
The company you would be working for is a Top Quality, well respected GC in California.
Heavy involvement in pre-construction planning including project scheduling, estimating manpower requirements and making recommendations, hiring personnel. Pre-construction meetings with subcontractors to discuss time constraints, construction methods, and company policy.
- Maintain quality and company policy in all on-site issues including keeping the project manager informed on any changes in methods, schedules or subcontractors. Maintain OSHA standards. Oversee any/all document flow from the project to the home office including as builts, change orders, incident reports, photographs, RFIs, daily reports, safety meetings, etc.
- Responsible for on-site coordination of subcontractors and maintaining total control over all on-site personnel with ability to suspend or dismiss anyone or any subcontractor not performing to company policy, procedures, or project schedule after review with project manager. Accurately prepare all employee time sheets.
- Schedule/conduct all necessary inspections with city officials, government, and private agencies as required.
